Load linear motion
The ropes/boom configuration allows the load linearity, during boom raising/lowering, with a tolerance less than ±0,5 m,  granting max efficiency and safety during goods handling
Radio remote control
The driver can proceed to operate the crane motion from any standpoint on carrier. With the remote control is possible to carry out all those maneuvers, which can be done from operator's cabin.
Torque-controlled cable reel
It is installed on boom tail for supplying and controlling the hook block and other lifting devices such as electro-hydraulic grab, automatic spreader, tong, magnet, etc. The position in the boom tail have several advantages: smaller cable reel with no more than three motors, it is not necessary to lay down to the ground the boom head for inspection, the risk of damages to the cable reel due to unintentional hits against ship structure or cargo of the ship is avoided, no additional concentrate loads on the boom head.
Telecamera on boom tip
A camera system for facilitating the handling maneuvers into the ship hatches hold. it is installed a colors camera on boom tip, specifically developed for load monitoring on cranes. The color display is installed in the upper cabin of the crane.
Active dust protection system
Special protections are provided on ropes passing in machinery house to minimize water and dust penetration. The air inlet in the diesel hall is provided of a filtering system, composed of multiple cell filters.
Upper (Tower) cabin
Cab designed in high resistance steel type with King-size dimensions. Cab is equipped with safety glass and comfortable driverâs sliding seat, windshield, air conditioning unit and cabin light. Control desk with instruments as well as the hand levers are easily accessible and well visible..
Additional seat in tower cabin
This additional seat is available for assistance or tutoring of the crane driver.
Air conditioning system in upper cab
The air conditioning unit always grants a comfortable air humidity and temperature, both in cold and hot environment.
Hydraulic luffing cylinder
A double acting cylinder, centrally pivoted on the tower, controls the boom inclination. Holding valves on cylinder and an automatic slowing-down device provides the maximum safety to the boom movement. The position of cylinder, installed on lower side of the boom, grants a total protection against corrosion of the rod, even during idle period of the crane.
Closed loop hydraulic control
Winch, slewing and travel movements are driven by variable displacement pumps and motors with closed hydraulic circuit, which allow the maximum smoothness in all maneuvers with speed regulation, from zero to the rated value, allowed continuously
3-chord boom configuration
Tubular lattice construction with triangular section for enhanced stability and stiffness of the boom structure
Last generation diesel engine
Diesel Engine is of primary brand, four stroke, turbo-charged, direct injection and water-cooled: cooling capacity is adequate for continuous full power operations. Engine gas emissions and sound level are in compliance with the last international rules for environmental protection.

Four stabilizer pads for improved load distribution on ground during operation.
Lighting
Lighting system for machinery house, winch room, cabins, along the stairs, footbridges and for all accesses that need to be lighted. Floodlights under boom for working area lighting.
Slewing mechanism
High capacity, three rows of roller type, with internal slew gears and cross-roll slewing ring. Slewing bearing will be of primary world manufacturer.
Hoisting mechanism
Standard winch, manufactured by ITALGRU, foresees one-layer of rope on drum with two rope lines. Configuration with single winch or double winch, for mechanical grab application, is available according to request.
Carrier
Made in high strength, heat-treated steel, the box structure ensures a high resistance to stresses and torsion. 6 axles standard configuration: all axles are steering and two axles are driven. Driving axles with bevel gear planetary reduction in wheel hubs. Each group has independent suspension; system consists of bogie beams, mechanically connected, for a perfect load distribution on each axle
